The Range

 

The range is the most popular element of the Club, as the majority of our members join only to use the range.

 

  We strongly recommend that any member shooting a firearm have some level of firearm safety (hunter safety, basic pistol, concealed carry training, etc.).  Safe, responsible shooting starts and ends with you!

 

As you are all aware, the current political climate with respect to firearms in our country is facing serious challenges.  It is more important than ever for shooters to be safe and respect others and their property. 

 

Be aware that we have single family homeowners to our east and north and the Antlers Golf Course/Residential Community is directly north on Antlers Road. 

 

The entire range and entrance is under 24-hour camera surveillance!

 

The pistol shooting range has:

• 9 shooting stations

• 2-10 yard backstops

• 2-50 foot backstops

• 1-25 yard backstop

• 1-50 yard backstop

The 100 yard range is open but is still under construction.

• Shooting can be done from the newly constructed shooting benches.

• Backstops are at 25, 50 and 100 yards.

 

Archery range has 7 multi-target shooting stations. 

Map of the stations is indicated below as "Exhibit 1" and are attached to rules.

Be Advised:​

• Range is open from 8AM to dusk or 8PM, whichever comes first

• No guests!  Friends, family, children must have a membership to be on property, NO EXCEPTIONS!

• No rapid fire!!! It is disruptive to our neighbors and can be intimidating to other shooters. If that is part of your training, please find another range that can accommodate your needs!

• No shotgun or rifle caliber cartridges on pistol range

• Clean up your spent brass/shells - Garbage pails and buckets are provided on the ranges

• Remove your targets when done 

• Do not place targets over uprights or cross supports

• All firearms are to be placed on benches when anyone is downrange

• Pistol Range is closed during Trap shooting (Wednesdays 5PM-?)
